About©
A manga that survives only if you keep him alive
Hyōryū is a serialized seinen manga published in drift. The protagonist fades when no one is reading him — and returns when you hold him. One new chapter is published every week. For as long as he is held.
Meet Hyōryū ©
A small story published by no one in particular, drawn by hands that prefer not to be named, held alive by a few hundred witnesses scattered across the world.

"We did not start Hyōryū to follow trends. We started it to see how long a character can stay alive when his existence depends entirely on the people choosing to look at him."

How Hyōryū works©
A simple loop. Four steps. No promises.
The page
Every week, a new chapter is drawn and published. No fixed day. No fixed length. Just whatever the story asks for, drawn at the rhythm the story can carry.
The reading
You read it. That is the only thing required of you. Reading is not passive in this project. Reading is what keeps Ren from disappearing entirely from the next chapter.
The holding
If you choose to, you can hold $HYORYU. The longer you hold, the more solid Ren becomes. The more solid Ren becomes, the more story he can carry. Your patience becomes his body.
The continuation
As long as someone is still reading and holding, the next chapter exists. When no one is left, the last page will be blank. That is the only ending we promise.
Stats©
62
Ren's current transparency. He gains percentage when held, loses it when forgotten. This number updates with the story, not with the market.
1
One new chapter every week. No exceptions while readers are still here. No delays for hype. No skipped weeks for convenience. One page after another until there is no one left to read.
∞
The number of chapters Hyōryū will have is unknown. It depends on you. The story continues as long as the holders hold and the readers read. There is no final chapter planned. There is no roadmap. There is only the next page.
